Anna Hazare wants to talk directly with Maharashtra MP Prithviraj Chavan. TV reports state that Hazare is unhappy with the modus operandi of Kejriwal and Bedi who have been calling for more aggressive action. Kejriwal & Bedi made things worst and played double games.

The government approached Hazare directly while trying to keep hardliners Kejriwal and Bedi out of the path in its effort during the negotiations. Incidentally, the original supporters of Hazare have also criticised the rigid stand by Kejriwal and Bedi and fear that the volatile situation at the Ramlila Ground might snowball into a major law and order problem. All the parties at the meeting made it clear that some of the provisions of the Jan Lokpal Bill put forward by Anna Hazare and his associates were unacceptable as they violated the supremacy of Parliament. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was against Team Anna's demand for having lokayuktas in every state. The leaders were also unanimous that Team Anna's strident demand of a deadline for the tabling and passing by Parliament of the Jan Lokpal Bill was unacceptable. "Government appeals to Hazare to end his fast and help bring a strong, effective Lokpal Bill. It is for the Standing Committee to consider the Jan Lokpal Bill. The government has an open mind," Narayanasamy said in the Rajya Sabha. REMEMBER its not the decision of the PM alone. Its the decision by the UPA and BJP. Thanks to some sensible people.
